The school is situated in a small town in Karnataka in a beautiful wooded campus. The school follows a flexible curriculum that takes into account children’s abilities and interests and makes learning more meaningful by encouraging students to explore issues that affect them and their community. Parents are actively encouraged to collaborate in the learning process especially in the Preschool and Junior school levels.

The curriculum at the middle schools specially encourages students to respond to environmental and community concerns in whatever ways they best can. For example, students interact regularly with a community-based environmental group to learn about the flora and fauna in the surrounding forests, and to participate in the dissemination of environmental awareness programs to the community. These interactions help students to develop fresh insights and perceptions, and to act with greater awareness and responsibility with regard to the environment.
